I live in a so called posh upcoming society called Orange County in Indirapuram ( Ghaziabad , UP).

When I moved in here about one year back, I met this lovely and friendly Indian female dog ( whom I named Julie ) who would sit by the construction site, and smile at passers by , never harming any soul, or chasing anyone.

The guards and laborers said she had been there since she was a pup.

We noticed she was pregnant.

Me and my husband tried to feed her, but she’d avoid us and be wary of our approaching her …. Maybe she’d seen we have 3 BIG dogs ( Labrador , Dalmatian and one Indian ) and didn’t quiet trust our intentions.

We would make an attempt everyday to meet her, pet her…. (Without the company of our dogs) and slowly she started warming up to us.

Then one day we came to know in the worst of winters that she’s delivered her babies. We started nurturing her, giving her food. She’d become very weak. Unfortunately , a time came when the owner of Orange County and the maintenance office etc.. tried to drive her off… and we had no other alternative but to try and get her pups adopted, so that they live and get good homes. We were successful with a few and a few unfortunately died, due to tick fever etc.

But Julie, became ever indebted to us it seems………………….cus she somehow knew we cared for her!!!

Present Day : My Julie has been tried by all possible sources of the authorities in the society to be driven away , but she finds her way and waits for me at the parking of my apartment day after day…. Everyday

And even though I just cant take her home as I have 3 four legged kids and it’s a rented accommodation, she has become an integral part of my life. I feed her everyday. Give her treats . play with her and she stays at the parking, JUST TO GET A GLIMPSE OF ME ( as my gaurds tell me ). So now, she’s my Hachiko….

I have posted Julie’s pics for adoption as its becoming increasingly difficult to protect her, as the people here are cruel and the authorities heartless. I’m afraid if I go away, they’ll harm the poor soul, and unfortunately, not too many people come forward and adopt Indian dogs, even though they are the most intelligent , friendly and naturally trained.

I just wish some good human being reads this and comes forward and takes my Julie home and gives her a loving and fun filled life that she deserves.

Anyone ?? She’ll be your Hachiko!!!!

Please do put this up on the website. PFA some of her pics as well..

Thanks
