Hi animal lovers,

I am sorry to bombard you with these requests, but I wanted to
highlight some people who need financial help as they do really good
work for the animals. For all those who think that human welfare is
more important, this is a plea to let you know that all these people
are working hard to control stray dog population by humane means while
also ensuring that dogs, cats and other animals in their community are
vaccinated to avoid zoonotic diseases like rabies. Help them as that
is helping some human or animal in need.

1.) Mrs. Manju Dikshit – she is a housewife here in Dwarka. I have
attached a brief video I made of her. This is at her friend’s private
shelter that she supports. In addition, Mrs. Dikshit takes care of
about 200 dogs here. Her days are spent driving
around Dwarka feeding dogs, rescuing them, etc. Attached email is what
I had sent around a few months ago. So far, I only managed to get
about Rs. 2000/- from one lady towards Mrs. Dikshit.

2.) Kamini Kashyap – She is an animal lover based in Almora,
Uttarakhand. That is my hometown. I have created the following weblink
for Kamini’s work. Recently she took in 8 abandoned dogs followed by
another 10 puppies. Kamini is actively seeking homes for those pups.

3.) Anurag of PFA Nainital. He is struggling to setup an ABC unit and
charity clinic in Nainital, Uttarakhand. In between his college
education, he spends his time and energy trying to get it started
these days. They hope to have ABC surgeries from March.
Luckily for him, he managed to convince the municipality to pay for
the ABC per surgery. But he needs a lot of help to run the place as
there will not be a darth of sick and injured animals.

4.) Dorothy Ghosh, who with her mother, runs Kalyani Charitable Trust
for stray animals. She has about 30+ animals in her house. They are
now renting some land outside of Chattarpur and plan to setup a kennel
plus shelter for the animals in need. Information on her is available
on: http://www.kalyani.org.in/

5.) Simmy Malhotra – She has one 4-5 year old son and about 30+ dogs
whom she cares for in her house. She doesnt have any other family
member and currently no job. She is in dire need of funds. Her blog is

If you think any of your contacts would be interested in helping any
of them, would request you to please let me know. I can pass on their
cellphone numbers / contact details to you to be in touch directly.
