In Response to this I wrote a mail to AAP and now I am waiting for their response

hi

I am a supporter of AAP and also a member. I voted for you guys for vidhan sabha and am contemplating voting for you guys in lok sabha as well. Now that said there is no way I will ever vote for you guys and also ensure some 40-50 people I can influence not to vote for you IF AND INCASE the following is true.
If Kejriwal thinks this is the solution for handling street dogs population rather than a kind hearted approach of ABC and sterilisation , then I will now shift from being your hard core supported to hard core ANTI AAP.
Please confirm and advice. Thank you.

DOGGED BY DOGS: LIVID KEJRI CALLS 100 FOR ACTION

It may sound surprising, but Z-category security protectee Arvind Kejriwal has made several PCR calls ever since he moved into his posh bungalow on Tilak Road in the Capital. The police calls were not owing to security threats, but because of the former Chief Minister and his family’s annoyance with stray dogs outside his residence.

The Delhi Police transferred the complaints to the 24X7 public grievance call centre, set up by New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on December 1 last year. The records revealed that there were complaints from the ex-CM’s residence regarding stray dogs. “About a week ago, we got a PCR call from the ex-CM’s residence at Tilak Lane which reported a complaint of stray dogs menace in the area. The case was referred to the health department which took action and addressed the complaint within a day,” said an NDMC official. The call centre had received the first complaint from Kejriwal’s residence in February, added the official. The second complaint was made by Kejriwal in the first week of March.

While the helpline, so far, has received over 2,400 calls with complaints ranging from garbage removal to electricity issues, the civic body admitted that complaints regarding stray dogs are difficult to address due to the High Court’s order in 2001.

“We have nothing much to do. The Palika Animal Birth Control society goes to the spot. If we find that a stray dog is not operated then we take it to our centre, give anti-rabies injection and return it to the same spot,” said an official.

Apart from this peculiar complaint, the call center has also received calls from 10 Janpath reporting that the roads have been not cleaned. From Traffic signal not working at Vijay Chowk to asking the garbage to be removed from Supreme Court gate, the helpline is constantly catering to the VVIPS residing in the area.

Launched to address the grievances of citizens residing in the NDMC area, officials said complaints of low pressure of water supply and removal of garbage were the most common. Out of the total received complaints, 303 are still pending while 2089 complaints have closed after taking necessary actions.
