DRM booked

The Ambala police today registered a case against DRM Y P Singh on a complaint filed by the Protection for Animals (PFA), Chandigarh.

The police said a case had been registered for getting 27 stray dogs killed in the Railway Colony last week. PFA founder member Payal Sodhi, filed a complaint at Parao police station in this connection, the sources said. The four class IV employees including Kamal, Mohan, Bhagirath and Jai Parkash have also been booked on the charge of poisoning the dogs. Singh has denied any involvement in this case. The police said a case had been registered. — TNS
