Cruelty doesn’t know age or place , even people from so called posh colonies , educated people are as idiotic as anyone else. FIR is being filed and action is being taken, lets see what happens.
Dear all,

Neelam Chaudhry, the late Poonam Misra’s sister, used to feed two dogs outside her residence in GK I. A few days ago one of the dogs, a female, a very quiet gentle dog, disappeared. On inquiry, Neelam learnt that a neighbour had had his driver cart the dog away to an unknown destination. With Anjali’s intervention Neelam was able to ascertain from the neighbour that the dog had been left somewhere trans Yamuna along a busy highway. Neelam and her husband have spent several days looking for the dog but there’s no sign of her. They have left their number with the local people and have offered them a reward for her safe return but there’s not much hope of that now.

Neelam and her husband intend to take legal and police action against this neighbour and all others involved. They would like to know under which animal welfare/protection against cruelty to animals laws to proceed. Is there a website where this information is available? I don’t want to trouble Anjali because I know she’s snowed under with cases, so can one of you help Neelam access this information? I’d be most grateful. The Chaudhrys are in a terrible state of distress. That dog meant the world to them.
Thanks a lot,
Regards,
Madhu
