hi,
the injured dalmatian that was abandoned in the shelter has been adopted by the family who helped us in shifting her to another place…alisha,the girl who called me to offer help for her,decided to take her home as they have had experience with such cases before….it was just a random act of kindness on her part…she had offered to shift her along with her friend,but when she met ZOE(thats what they have named her,it means LIFE),she decided that zoe needs a home more than anything else,love would go a long way in treating her…alisha also refused all help financially and otherwise saying zoe was now their responsibility and as such they would take care of everything….zoe had stopped eating,we thought it could be some infection ,but it was neglect.zoe was in a state of depression….today zoe was taken to her new home,given a cool shower,cleaned,she was chirpy,happy and ate her meals perfectly…she is a darling,and active too…her condition is expected to improve with medical care…
my purpose for writing this mail to you all is that a whole lot of people had offered to help her…but she was lucky,she didn’t need it…but lots of them out there are not so lucky.we have some of them with us who need help too there is a Spitz,one and a half year old,who was abandoned with one of his eye totally mangled and infected…he is now better after months of care.he can see from one eye,but in spite of efforts,we have not been able to find a home for him,there is gauri,the young Indian female,whose front leg had to be amputated,the healing process is still on but she needs help too.she has to go for another surgery which would involve extreme care and rehabilitation….if you can donate for gauri,it would be great…or for any other case that needs help…please pass on this message to everyone. I’m hoping that help would come for the others too who are with me or for Sai Ashram if you prefer. If anyone is willing to contribute they can do so..a receipt would be issued of course.
