Tata group chairman emeritus Ratan Tata is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a good human being. A man with a heart of gold.
He is regarded as one of the best employers to work with by many due to his considerate and magnanimous nature.
Ratan Tata’s consideration and magnanimity are not only confined to humans but also to animals. His love and devotion for the man’s best friend is something which every dog lover is proud of. Especially we Indians because there are very few celebrities and leaders in India who dare to come out in public and display their love and affection for these voiceless souls.
Showering affection and love to stray dogs is considered a trait of madness by many in India. Hence, most of the celebrities and political leaders hesitate to openly display their affection for the stray.
On the day of Diwali, Ratan Tata spent quality time with his furry friends including his favourite office dog Goa (pic in the post).
A special kennel has been dedicated in the Bombay House (the global headquarters of Tata Group) in Mumbai, for the stray dogs living in and around the area.

Diwali is a festival which celebrates the homecoming of Lord Rama after he spent 14 long years in exile and defeated and killed the demon Ravana.
His army consisted primarily of animals (monkeys and bears) of which Hanuman ( a monkey) was his favourite.
Being a no moon day the whole of Ayodhya was lit with lamps. That’s the way the people of Ayodhya welcomed Ram and his army.
Imagine if people of Ayodhya had used fire crackers to welcome Ram and his army?????
Probably all his army would have run away and Ram himself would have been deeply saddened seeing his animal friends in so much pain and trauma.
Fire crackers are absolutely meaningless and have nothing to do with Diwali and its celebration. We need to rethink and discard this most idiotic and useless element from Diwali.
Ratan Tata has in true sense and spirit celebrated this beautiful festival.
Wish more corporate houses like Bombay House make kennels for stray dogs living in and around their vicinity.
This is also a step towards making India Atma Nirbhar. The vision of our honourable Prime Minister.
It’s time every corporate house, residential colony and educational institution take up the responsibility of sterilization, vaccination and food and water for the stray dogs living in and around their surrounding.
