Dear friends,
Yet another amazing story I had the privilege to be a part of. While surveying Dwarka region for a subject study I came across this dog who follows a new definition of being a dog. I am told by many in that area that this dog was born a puppy on a desolate filed where a lot of stray cows and bulls used to spend their time. This puppy was abandoned by this mother and opened his eyes amidst a herd of cows. Some people say that a few cows which were milking has actually reared this pup into a dog by feeding him with their milk. I don’t know if and how that is possible, but what is most amazing is how this dog now carries himself after so many years. The people who feed this dog told me that this dog doesn’t think of himself as a dog. In fact he doesn’t like dogs and never allows any dog to interact with him. His daily routine is roaming with the herd of cows all over Dwarka scavenging like one of them and by evening they all come back to that same empty filed where these cows have been resting for years now. In the night the cows protect this dog from any kind of intrusion or from any other dog trying to disturb him. So this dog surely thinks he is a cow, albeit a little shorter in height and size.
