Please have a look at the article about the lucknow drive. If you read it, you will be surprised to see how they actually backed and supported the drive. Supposedly the dogs were becoming a nuisance for the people at the station. Wonder how that happeend? Again, AS USUAL, they LMC like any other Municipal corporation of India was sleeping away to glory and not spaying and neutering dogs when they should have. Obviously the population increased and as usual they reacted when the situation went out of hand rather than when things were fine. Story of India over and over again.
