We are getting massive amount of data that dogs are disapearing from Delhi due to CWG and randomly appearing in large numbers at outskirts of Delhi. I personally have witnessed a huge influx of dogs at pahari wala road near Delhi Gurgaon border on MG road. There are some info of dogs disapearing from my area as well.
We are getting constant emails from people who have seen unmarked vans making rounds at late night and picking up stray dogs. For everyone’s information it is illegal to relocate dogs in the state of Delhi.
An RTI was filed for MCD to answer about their plans and designs against stray dogs in the name of common wealth beautification and their answer was that they were not going to relocate any dog as its illegal. I am attaching the RTI
