Thanku for all your support. Our faithful friends are in a difficult situation and need ur support.
I live in Geeta Colony, very close to COMMON WEALTH GAMES village. Close to the main pushta road, is a slum cluster and few dogs live there. Govt. will remove all the jhuggies and rikshaw pullers for the beautification . Rikshaw pullers have already started moving.
Around 40 dogs live there. Two have stable distemper, which is absolutely safe but if any NGO or MCD will pick, they will b euthanized immediately. One of them is pregnant in advance stage and recently has gone thru the trauma of being burnt. Some egg wala has thrown boiled water on her. I have done the treatment and the wounds hv healed.
In fact, people living close to yamuna have moved to the side pavement of the road (ITO bridge) and dogs can be seen with them also. All the jhuggis will be removed shortly but i m sure no one is going to take the dogs with them and one can imagine what govt. will do to these dogs!!!!!……
Please please please come up with suggestions, alternatives, for these poor lives who have no one to look after them. Govt. will remove them or kill them, no one is there to fight for them.
Another dog has given pups close to my house in a park. I saw her crossing road with her dead pup in mouth. I managed to make a home for her in the park but she moved her pups may be due to heavy rain. Somehow managed to find her pups but only two. Searched for another 2 but culd find only one more. Now, the new home is outside a shop which is on the main road. Mother is so weak that her bones can be counted. Moving them to shelter is a sure death. Please help her !!!!!
I already have 29 at home (3 rooms) and just yesterday while searching for the pup, my foot got pierced with a rusted nail. Althought i have taken a tetanus shot and got the bandage done but its very painful. With great diffuculty, i m managing to clean, cook, feed and finish my household chores. I can’t keep my foot on ground. Honestly, have no stamina to keep any more and neither have any space now. WIth little donations, i m finding it difficult to manage my home with 29.so really can’t add any more.
Please Please Please reply asap with a resolution..
